There has been many discussions about alternate energy systems which is normally thought of as sustainable energy. Perhaps one of the energy sources that should be considered in the US is the use of nuclear power, in conjunction with conventional power such as hydro power, clean coal, wind, solar, and biomass power. The use nuclear allows a steady energy source for clean, low carbon electrcial power in the US.
Looking at other countries in Europe, France, Netherlands, we see the implementation of nuclear plants. This is a major element for electrical power generation in the US.
We need to seriously consider this as a component to enhance the overall complement of the energy portfolio.
